About St. Paul's Senior High School

St. Paul’s Senior High School was established on 1st
September 1979 in the private residence of Opanyin
Yaw Anim a Philanthropist and a native of Asakraka-
Kwahu, by some eminent citizens of the community
as Asakraka Secondary Commercial Day School.
They were Mr. Alex Micheal Owiredu (Fmr.Headmaster
of Donkorkrom Agriculture Secondary), Afram Plains,
Mr. E.K. Gyekye (Fmr.Regional Manager, Methodist
Education Unit), Koforidua, Opanyin Kwasi Nimo
(Chief Farmer), Mr. S.S. Sefa Mireku (Businessman),
Mr. Dwamena Tanor (Businessman), Mr. L. Poku-Fori
(Rtd. teacher), Nana Kwabena Darfour (Head, Accra
Community) and Mr. H. Asumadu as Headmaster.
The District Education Service, Mpraeso, seconded
Messes S.S. Sefa Mireku, Mr. Dwamena Tanor, and
Mr. Akuamoah Boateng the then Administrative
Secretary were mandated by the Community to
appeal to the Catholic Bishop of Accra, through Rev.
Fr. Mushoof Norbert of Kwahu Tafo for adoption of
the school as a Catholic Institution in 1986.

VISION
St. Paul’s Senior High School aims at being an
excellent centre creating a secured, orderly and
caring community in which students are able to
achieve both excellent academic and disciplined
personality, as well as develop respect and concern
for others.

MISSION

TSt. Paul’s Senior High School seeks to provide
a caring and safe environment in which a young
person can receive the opportunity for intellectual,
physical, emotional and social growth towards the
development of responsible and experienced adult
life.
