About Samuel Otu Presby Senior High School

Samuel Otu Presbyterian Senior High School (SOPSHS) formally known as Presby Senior High Commercial School is a government assisted school located in Techimantia about 15 Kilometres from Bechem, the district capital. The School was established as a private institution by one Mr. Kwakwu Boateng from Duayaw Nkwanta with the name Evangelical Technical School in 1974. It was  taken over by the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in 1980 when the name of the school then became Presbyterian Day Commercial School.

To be the leading provider of second cycle education in Ahafo Region, producing academically excellent and morally sound individuals for the future.

To educate students in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation and excellence in learning.
