About Salvation Army Senior High School, Akim Wenchi

The Salvation Army Senior High in Akim Wenchi was
founded in September, 1991 as a Day/Boarding coeducational
Public /Mission Institution. It is located
on the premises of defunct Ghana Consolidated
Diamond Company which was bequeathed to the
chiefs and people of Akim. The Salvation Army Church
adopted the school and put up some bungalows and
classroom blocks.

VISION

To seek excellent academic results in the midst of
self-discipline on the part of both students and staff,
contributing their quota by working hard, showing
commitment and dedication to their work.

MISSION

To imbibe the moral training that will ensure that our
students will be unassuming, simple, humble and
hard-working citizens who will have a fighting spirit
and never give up till they have achieved set goals of
their institutions.
