PassionAir is a Ghanaian airline that started scheduled domestic operations in Ghana in August 2018. With a vision of creating an exceptional travelling experience, the airline seeks to provide the Ghanaian aviation market with timely, safe and secure schedules between Accra and the main cities. It is PassionAir’s goal to be the airline of choice, providing competitive service within Ghana and the West African region as a whole.

PassionAir provides scheduled domestic operations from its Accra hub to Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale. The focus is to consolidate aviation traffic between the main cities and then stimulate traffic to the other domestic airports. The product lines provided includes the schedule and charter operations offering competitive rates utilizing our efficient Dash 8 Q400 fleet.  Passengers can expect to experience excellent customer service that depicts the proverbial Ghanaian hospitality.

Plans to provide regional flights within the West African sub-region form the major goal for the medium term. We seek to provide efficient linkages with the West African cities and developing Accra as a major hub for the region. We will provide seamless connectivity for the passengers with the carriers flying to the popular European, American, Middle East and African destinations through our partnerships and interline initiatives.

With a dispatch reliability rate of over 99.5%, the aircraft has transported about 400 million passengers worldwide. And, thanks to its industry-leading passenger experience, operating costs and environmental footprint, the Q400 is the pinnacle of a modern turboprop, making a great machine even greater.

Flying Responsibly

The Q400 burns 30% less fuel and produces 30% lower emissions on short-haul routes where it has replaced similar capacity jet aircraft. The Q400 is also one of the quietest aircraft flying today. Its advanced propulsion system leads to significantly reduced community noise pollution, making it ideal for city-centre airports

Enhanced Passenger Comfort

The new Q400 aircraft cabin is exceptionally bright, comfortable and—thanks to Active Noise and Vibration Suppression (ANVS)—very quiet. With the cabin’s larger bins, more natural light, LED lighting, new seats, and low noise level, it all adds up to some comfortable and enjoyable flying experience passengers really appreciate. Inside and out, the Q400 has been continuously improved to make it the largest and most comfortable turboprop in the world.

Single Class

In a single-class configuration, the Q400 seats up to 78 passengers at a comfortable 30-inch pitch for each customer. This particular configuration allows us to augment the single-aisle jet fleets.

Inviting Interiors

Q400 passengers benefit from larger overhead bins that easily accommodate two airline-standard roller bags. It also has large windows that maximize natural light and improved LED lighting, which further enhances the spacious interior.

Quieter Flight

Passengers enjoy a quieter cabin thanks to the Q400’s unique Active Noise and Vibration Suppression system, which results in noise levels lower than those of some jets
