About Ghana Senior High School, Tamale

The School was established in January 1960 with a
the student population of 70 made up of only boys. The
School originally started with a teaching staff of 20.

To be an institution of academic and moral excellence
in the Region.

MISSION

To provide formal education to qualified school
leavers, admit BECE leavers and ensure they acquire
the requisite qualifications for further training in
tertiary institution to be productive by promoting
socio-economic development by assisting to reduce
poverty.
