About Forces Senior High/Tech School

The Armed Forces Senior High Technical School, established jointly by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education in 1978, started as a Junior Secondary School in 1978. It was upgraded in 1982 to a Secondary Technical School (now Senior High Technical School). It exists to take care of the dependents of soldiers, Ministry of Defence civilian
employees and the civilian neighbours within the catchment area of Burma Camp.

VISION

To become an ultra-modern Senior High Technical School in Ghana (Model School), and a centre of excellence for Science, ICT, Technical and Vocational education.

MISSION

To train and equip young people with requisite skills, knowledge, moral aptitude and discipline in an environment of collaboration and mutual respect among teachers, parents and students for the best results for the individual’s and the country’s wellbeing.
