About St. John’s Senior High School

St. John’s school was founded as a private SHS by
the Roman Catholic Church on 29th January, 1952.
It was the first secondary school to be established in
the Western region.

VISION
To educate both the minds and hearts of our students
and strive to become a model Christian second cycle
institution in Ghana.

MISSION

We create a conducive atmosphere for effective
teaching and learning to take place and provide
holistic education where students are intellectually
informed, physically, morally, spiritually formed and
transformed so that they become independent critical
thinkers who fit into society and develop a sense of
citizenship and responsibility to the community and
society.
