About Tamale Girls Senior High School

The School was established in the 1998/99 academic
year as the first Girls Senior High School in the
Northern Region. The initiative for the establishment
of the school came from the Regional
Co-ordinating Council (RCC) and Ghana Education
Service (GES). It is located along the Sawla-Damongo
road close to the District Assembly.

VISION
To provide formal and relevant education to well
deserving individuals to enable them acquire the
requisite knowledge, skill and competencies for
further training in tertiary institutions to become
productive citizens.

MISSION

To maintain and encourage quality academic, moral
and disciplined training to the students to enable
them have access to tertiary institutions to be trained
to satisfy the manpower needs of the country.
