About Accra Girls Senior High School

Accra Girls Senior High was established in 1960 as one of the Ghana Education Trust schools. The school commenced on the 30th of September, under the leadership of Blanch Gibson, an expatriate. In the fifty-seven (57) years of existence, the school has carved a niche for itself by maintaining enviable academic excellence, progress and a high level of discipline. The motto of the school is ‘Aim High’. It implies that the sky should be the limit for students in their academic pursuit and never to pave way for mediocrity or complacency.

VISION

To embolden the girls to develop appropriate skills to propel them to be responsible citizens through quality and effective education.

MISSION

To train students to achieve excellent, very high skills that would enable them become disciplined, hardworking and productive citizens.
